Euphoria Renewed for Third Season on HBO

Fans of the hit show Euphoria will be glad, but unsurprised, to learn that the hit show has been renewed for a third season. 

Airing on HBO in the US and on the UK’s Sky Atlantic channel, the gritty teen drama has been a huge hit since it’s first episode hit the screens in 2019. Hunter and Rue Euphoria


Starring fan-favourites Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Storm Reid and Dominic Fike, the gripping show covers topics such as addiction, toxic masculinity, mental health and LGBT stories.

Francesca Orsi, HBO Programming’s Executive Vice President announced the confirmation of Euphoria’s third season in a statement saying, “Sam, Zendaya, and the entire cast and crew of ‘Euphoria’ have taken Season 2 to extraordinary heights, challenging narrative convention and form, while maintaining its heart. We couldn’t be more honored to work with this gifted, wildly talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them into Season 3.“

The announcement comes midway through the airing of the current season, which is shown every Monday at 9pm on Sky Atlantic. 

Since season two debuted on January 9th of this year, the show has amassed an enormous viewership of 14 million across all platforms. At more than double the average of the show’s season one viewership (6.6million), the impressive statistic provided HBO with more than enough reassurance that season 3 will go down a storm.
