Zendaya and Tom Holland looked cute as ever in their debut couple appearance at Ballon D’or and as expected the fans went nuts.
Arriving at the Théâtre du Châtelet for one of the oldest annual football awards presented by France Football magazine, The Spiderman Man No Way Home actors brought their on screen chemistry to the red carpet – for the first time together *screams*- in their complementary blacked out fits.

Zendaya especially stole the show in a custom Roberto Cavalli Autumn/Winter 2000 dress archive, flattering her slimline figure in a simple yet elegant fitted long sleeve black dress decorating her back with an intricate gold accent tracing out a human spine.
Sourced by her loyal stylist Law Roach this iconic look contributes to her already vast vintage fashion wardrobe looks which includes the Yves Saint Laurent blue silk puff shoulder plunge shirt, originally worn in the 80s by pioneering black business woman and founder of Ebony Fashion Fair Eunice Johnson.
And it seems as if Zendaya is not foreign to paying homage. Fans have taken to the Internet to speculate her gold spine adornment is a possible reference to Marvel character Doc Ock…which is probably a massive stretch but as long as Zendaya can entertain it then it’s always a possibility.
Adding another legendary look to her red carpet repertoire, the Euphoria star stuck to her customary simple glam makeup look, with pink sheer blush applied onto her cheekbones. Her hair was styled into a makeshift bob hairstyle, from front appearing the jaw length framing her blushed cheeks, yet the back much like her dress, revealed the truth.
Zendaya’s stylist, Antoinette Hill, tucked her hair underneath to fake a Bob framing her standout accessory choice of gold hooped earrings.
“Giving Us Angles at the 2021 Ballon D’Or Ceremony: We went with a tucked faux bob effect to complement yet accentuate this form fitting open back gown with a golden spine,” said Hill on Instagram of the look.
Is Zendaya setting a new hair trend? With her rocking so many other stunning looks at award ceremonies this year it’s hard to tell. She cleared the floor at the 2021 CFDA fashion Awards with a Vera Wang “bubble waist” two piece, where she collected the Fashion Icon award making her the youngest recipient ever. Clearly setting trends comes natural to Zendaya.
On the other hand her co-star and now partner, Tom Holland, kept it simple in a classic black and white tuxedo, virtually sending all the spotlight to Zendaya.
We love a man who lets his partner shine. I think we can deffo say couple goals?
The duo’s appearance came days before Spider-Man: No Way Home hit American theatres on the 17th of December, the UK being treated with a two day early release on the 15th.
It’s very likely Holland will be returning as Spider Man for this second trilogy alongside Zendaya as MJ. Either way fans are excited to see what else the couple will bring on and off screen.
