Gamescom 2021: Everything you need to know!
Gamescom 2021 was one of the biggest events in the digital entertainment world this year and so we’re reminding you of some of the main points to take away.

Gamescom is one of the world’s largest video game events which takes place every year in Cologne, Germany. This is where gaming fans from all over the world come together for the launch of exciting games and community activities.
Due to the current pandemic situation, Gamescom was streamed and covered digitally. It was a three-day event from August 25 to August covering all the major news and updates in the gaming industry. Here’s a round up of what went down.

Announcements in Gamescom 2021
A number of upcoming game release announcements were made at the event. The list covers an exciting number of games of different genres.

Saints Row
The game will be releasing for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on February 25, 2022. Volition revealed a very interesting gameplay trailer along with the announcement and story cinematic.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker
The opening night of Gamescom featured the trailer launch of the Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker which will be releasing in the Spring of 2022. The fans will have to wait for a long time before the release, Although the recently launched trailer will be keeping them busy till then.

Call of Duty: Vanguard
Activision will be coming out with another edition of the popular first-person shooter later this year. It is said to be one of the biggest games of the year and the trailer delivers that promise remarkably. The multiplayer game will have 24 maps across all game modes along with dynamic weather events similar to Advanced Warfare.

Halo Infinite
343 Industries revealed the trailer for Halo Infinite along with Halo Infinite Limited Edition Xbox Series X and Halo Infinite Limited Edition Xbox Elite Wireless Series 2 controller. For the very first time in the series, the multiplayer will be free-to-play and will officially be released on December 8, 2021.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns
The Tactical RPG from Firaxis Games will be releasing on all platforms in March 2022. It will be featuring customizable superheroes including – Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, etc. The first gameplay is yet to be released and will be launched in September 2021.
There are over 20 publishers confirmed for attending Gamescom 2021 along with 80 Indie titles which will be showcased virtually during the entire event.
The three-day event will be full of game releases, announcements, and exciting events for the gaming community.
